Post Title: Financial and Administrative Assistant

Duty Station: Peja

Duration: 12 Months with possibility of extension 

Working time: Full time (40 hours/week)

Closing Date: 13.09.2019

Background of the organization 

Anibar is an organization formed by a group of young people who have demonstrated their enthusiasm and vision to promote animated film culture in the last ten editions of the festival, also demonstrating the capacity developed to host major events. Anibar has invested in youth and children's development capacity through trainings, workshops, debates and other activities that enable all Balkan artists to increase their visibility internationally. Anibar has a special focus on three main programs Civic Education, Culture Development and Film Production.

Requirements

In cooperation with the Project Managers draft and foresee the plan for expenses on a monthly basis

Preparation of monthly financial reports and send to the respective donors 

Execution of monthly salaries and other expenses of the organization on timely manner 

Execution of obligations to tax authorities and overall knowledge of the existing financial legislation

Advanced knowledge on budget project proposal drafting 

Advanced knowledge on procurement procedures 

Ensure constantly that accounts, financial books, administrative matters and data are kept up to date and in accordance with Anibars financial and operating manual

Maintenance of the existing database of expenses 

Work closely with the project team to coordinate efforts within the team and with partners to deliver activities to deadline and on budget

Verify transactions that comply with the policies and procedures set out in the Work Manual

Preferable knowledge on the use of Quick Books Software and maintenance of petty cash 

Drafting contracts for staff

Other duties related to the position 

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year relevant experience working with national and international

donors/projects or organizations 

Mandatory knowledge of Albanian and English language

Able to work independently and responsibly under pressure

Able to adapt in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment 

Demonstrated high level of professionalism

Recognized University degree, preferably in a relevant field
