E-Commerce Apprenticeship Program

The "Black Friday: Your Gateway to a New Career" project is part of E-Commerce Apprenticeship Program that we offer at Gjirafa. This program is an exciting opportunity for both our company and prospective team members. With the fast-approaching Black Friday event and beyond, we are seeking talented individuals to join our team. We aim to make this hiring initiative a stepping stone for career growth within Gjirafa. 

Within this project we are looking for:

8 Seasonal Warehouse and Fulfillment Team Members (length: 2 months).

5 Seasonal IT Technician Team Members (length: 3 months).

Details about the Roles:

Seasonal Warehouse and Fulfillment Team Member

Some of your duties may include:

• Receive and put away inventory,

• Get customer orders ready and pack them up,

• Load boxes into vehicles for shipment,

• Use scanners to read bar codes on products,

• View prompts on screens and follow the direction for some tasks,

• Ensure product meets quality requirements.

• Perform other tasks assigned by the employer.

Role Info:

• Rotation schedule is from Monday to Sunday with 2 days off per week.

• Shifts are  Overnight, Early Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

• The candidates need to be able to work also during national holidays.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.

Seasonal IT Technician Apprentice

Some of your duties may include:

• Building computers 

• Diagnose problems with computers and provide solutions to their problems,

• Install and configure computer hardware and software components,

• Repair or replace damaged components of computers,

• Perform software and hardware testing and evaluations,

• Check and test products repaired and returned by suppliers,

• Assist the senior Technicians where needed,

• Keep a clean and structured workplace,

• Perform other tasks assigned by the employer.

You’ll need to:

• You need to have some level of knowledge on how to do a PC Build.

Role info:

• Working Days: Monday to Sunday with 2 days off per week,

• The candidates need to be able to work also during national holidays.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
