Job Description:

Butler Hospitality is looking for an experienced Web Software Engineer/Team Lead to join our team in Kosovo. We are seeking for a leader who can delegate tasks, work with our Product Team to plan and execute on our roadmap, as well as working with our Tech Leads to enforce our technical vision and standards. You will be responsible for leading a small team of engineers which focuses on our various web applications and microsites. 

Our primary web apps are used by our hotel guests to place their food delivery orders as well as our hotel partners to request additional services and view revenue stats. Additionally, we have several microsites which provide various limited functionality for certain partners. All of our web applications are built with ReactJS. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain existing codebase, advance the web technology stack and functionality of the web-applications with the latest technologies and best practices

• Be an expert in both the technology and product for the given Team

• Ensure code quality by example and by introducing code standards and best practices

• Review PRs and provide feedback when required

• Work with Product Manager(s) to help plan sprints and delegate tasks to team members

• Work with Tech Lead(s) to help plan and execute on the technical vision

• Tackle the more complex sprint tasks 

• Help remove roadblocks and ensure team members have the information and tools needed to complete their tasks.

• Work with Tech Leads to create/update processes which improve team functions (code reviews, testing standards, QA processes, etc) and enforce these processes with the team.

• Assist our Release Engineer(s) with deployments 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience

• At least two years' experience as a Software Engineer

• Strong experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS

• Knowledge on Cloud platforms like AWS, Google-Cloud, Microsoft Azure is a plus

• Experience with leading a team of developers

• Ability to delegate tasks and mentor less experienced members of the team

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
